This first floor self-catering holiday home (gite) has all the luxury and comfort that guests to the main house expect, plus a lot more space and the freedom of self-catering. There are two bedrooms offering a king-size bed and twin beds, with ample wardrobe and storage space. The gite has private entrance at the side of the barn, accessed via an external wooden staircase and good sized balcony.
A fully equipped kitchen makes preparing meals a pleasure and there is a dishwasher, microwave oven, electric hob and fridge/freezer. The bathroom has a walk in shower plus WC, hand-basin and heated towel rail. There is also a TV with DVD player in the lounge.
Outside, the sunny private balcony means guests can enjoy an al fresco meal and take in the countryside views. Of course, the gardens and surrounds are available for all to enjoy with seating, a sunny sunken courtyard, hammock in the trees, a stone circle, and more. There is a small BBQ available to each gite and a large communal gas BBQ as well.
There is a shared utility room for the two gites where guests can use washing machine and tumble dryer if required, along with iron and ironing board.
We provide our self-catering guests with one set of bed linen for the week plus two sets of towels. Beach towels are also available on request. The kitchen is fully equipped with saucepans etc, crockery and cutlery, along with a basic selection of cooking ingredients. We give you a welcome pack which includes tea, coffee, milk, home made jam and more, depending on the season, plus a bottle of wine. Electricity is included in the prices and there is access to broadband in the main house should you need to check emails.
Guests may be certain that their holiday home will be spotless on arrival. On departure, a service charge of 50 euros means that you do not have to worry about cleaning, but please leave the apartment tidy. We ask for a 200 euro, or £200, cash security deposit which is payable on arrival and refunded on departure.
If you would like to enjoy more of our hospitality, meals may be taken with Doug and Deni in the main house provided they are booked one day in advance and there is room at the table with our other guests.
