The Master Bedroom

The bedroom itself is a good size, but add to that the sumptuous bathroom and you have the setting for a luxurious and comfortable break at Chez Jallot. The furniture is antique and very at home in this elegant room.

Your stay in the Master bedroom will make your time at Chez Jallot something special. The room itself is spacious to say the least and add to that the very special bathroom and you will think you are in heaven.

The seating area is beautifully lit with natural light, ideal for a quiet read or just to relax and enjoy the views of the distant hills.

The bed is a traditional French design and matches well with the Armoire and easy chairs giving this luxury room a comfortable feel.

The dressing table is set in front of a recess, originally the safe. By putting in a small light it now makes an ideal place for a mirror and some ornaments.

One problem we have is getting matching bedside tables. Traditional French suites have only one on one side of the bed, but we have done our best to match up single units to ensure that there is enough storage and shelf space for everyone.

The freestanding bath taken from the walk in shower. The drencher shower head covers you from head to toe in hot water for a refreshing start to the day, and in the evening, you can relax in the bath by candle-light whilst enjoying a glass of wine.

The entire bathroom is lined with beautiful Italian 'limestone' tiles, featuring lots of borders and details. The walk in shower has mosaic floor tiles a curved glass screen to ensure that you step out of the shower onto a dry floor.

The bathroom is completed with two hand-basins, WC and bidet. A large illuminated mirror mounted in a tile surround adds extra light and gives what is already a large room a great feeling of space.
