The Vassiviere Suite

The Vassiviere Suite has two extra large twin beds and offers spacious accommodation. The spacious ensuite has a shower and is tiled throughout. There is an adjoining room with two smaller single beds.

The large twin beds were sourced from a local brocante and the wardrobes rescued from a local barn where they had lain un-used for several years, but with a little bit of work and some repairs they suit the room perfectly.

This twin room is bright and airy and the wall colours set off the colour of the different woods we have used in here.

The beds are oak, the wardrobe is cherry and the floor is our 'matured' pine. It sounds a real mixture, but the warm tones of the wood combine to add a much loved feel to the room.

An old French washstands serves as a dressing table, adding to the character of this room.

A lot of the enjoyment in rebuilding this house has come from visiting the many Brocantes in the area, sourcing furnishings which look as though they have always been here.

A view from the window showing the adjoining bedroom. The wardrobes are big enough to hold two weeks worth of clothes for four people.

The bathroom door is opposite the wardrobes, so the kids have easy access from their room without disturbing mum & dad.

Both the rooms have their own radiators and the bathroom has a heated towel rail and separate heater so your stay will be cosy, no matter what time of year it is.

This smaller room provides extra space either for you to spread out or for friends to share.

The paintwork in here matches the main bedroom so again it is a nice bright room that will not disappoint.
