The island at the working end of the kitchen means that we have plenty of space to prepare meals without continually tripping over each other. The waste bins are two drop down doors at the end so clearing up is just a matter of sweeping everything over the edge and dropping it into the appropriate bin. In this photograph, Deni is putting some champagne into the fridge for later, not sneaking a quick tipple in the middle of the day. |
