There are several watersport activities and sporting events within close proximity to Chez Jallot at Lac de Vassiviere.

Lac Vassiviere is situated 17km south of Chez Jallot.  It is one of France's largest artificial lakes and is a large man-made reservoir of about 10 square kilometers (2,500 acres). It is situated on the Plateau de Millevaches in the departments of Creuse and Haute-Vienne. It is the largest area of water in the Limousin region of France and provides water supplies, hydroelectricity, leisure facilities and sporting events.
